Just wondering what you think of the 2009 A3 3.2L Quattro as an alternative? Not as good looking as the R32 but essentially the same car with a different shell?

A3 has a similar drivetrain and setup to an MKV R32...

which is not the same as an Mk4 (biggest difference being no manual availability for either car)

The M3 belongs to the former pres and executive member of the BMWCCBC. I've never seen a more impeccably kept high mile car. With that said - the price is absolutely crazy. I can see the market moving up, but it's got to be double what anyone would pay for it.

Well that GSR went quick.

I really like the sound of the 3.2 VR6, the shape of the MK4 R32, and the Konig seats...

So the A3 only hits 1/3 points for me.

Having said that, I've grown quite fond of anything VAG over the years.. while my hatred of BMW's has increased substantially.

still felt shady that one... i'm thinking we'll see it soon with a new front clip and a few g's added to the price tag.

The 240Z. There is something wrong with the rear suspension. The "numbers matching"...This is not a 70 Chevelle big block. Its a 240Z that had lots of issues and you could make easy improvements. That prelude for 7.8k lol. It's clean, but it still has rust on the rear quarter panel and far from a justifiable asking price. That vigor could be a good buy for 3k given it's low mileage.
