Found the car I want and must have! Priced just over trade in value, just trying to dump it for a few hundred more then the dealer would give me

$5200 - 119k kms
Also note this is a limited (150 canadian production) Speedster edition including LSD and additional chassis bracing, but no A/C or power windows.
Fuck I want this bad, but timing is off...

I'm always skeptical, so please enlighten me if I'm missing something.. So many cars sold after recent engine rebuilds. Is it really worth it to rebuild and sell immediately after vs. selling with an engine that needs rebuilding? Every ad I see where it says "recently rebuilt" or "only xxxx kms on new/rebuilt engine" makes me think there are more skeletons in the closet.
Am I alone here?
