Likely because there's an enormous African population in the UK and tensions have been high in recent years (far worse in the past)

The BBC is running his apology on replay and multiple stories on their sites too something they haven't done with his past issues

i remember when i was about 5 or 6, i had children's books printed in the 1980's using the word negro to describe black people. these were english books printed in asia to teach english. it was nothing offensive, that was just a word akin to caucasian.

Jesus fuck who gives a shit. We've got people in the world who are ACTUALLY discriminating people based on the colour of their skin, or their beliefs, or sexual orientations and the media chooses to focus time and resources to report on a mumble that kind of maybe sounded like nigger? What a fucking joke. Its fucking embarrassing that people eat up stories like this.
