Brewery and the Beast

Brewery and The Beast - Festival Of Meat Vancouver - Home Page
Date: Sunday, July 27
Time: 1:00 - 4:00pm

Did anyone attend this, last year? How was it? Is all the meat and beer included, or are you just getting small samples? $90 seems pretty pricey.

"A FESTIVAL OF MEAT"

Chefs demonstrate their skill and passion for meat through a wide variety of delicious and inspired creations. Local and regional farms provide the highest quality proteins to be featured through various cooking methods. A stellar line up of chefs representing restaurants from Vancouver and Whistler will prepare unique dishes using both classic and modern technique. Whole pig and lamb roasts, charcuterie, smoked meats, ethnic-inspired dishes, classic BBQ, and other full-flavored exotic foods will be showcased at Brewery & The Beast.

Accompanying the menu du jour will be refreshments provided by The Phillips Brewing Company, Left Field Cider, and Mission Hill Family Estate Winery. Homemade sodas, specialty coffee, and traditional iced teas will also be served to wash down the savoury, sweet, and smoky flavours.

The list of participating restaurants and video makes it look tempting, but I agree that price seems steep, too bad it isn't longer than 3 hours too lol.

We bought tickets when they were released. Expensive at $100 after all the fees.

Never been. Very excited. It's about the same price as going to a show like cirque, but this way we get to eat it!

I will try to eat one of everything.
