2007 Cosworth Supercharged Mazda MX-5

*SOLD!*

It's been a blast, but time to say goodbye to my pride and joy; a very quick Cosworth Supercharged MX5.

2007 Mazda MX-5 GS with 90,000kms
-Original owner, no accidents.
-Full service history, always garaged
-Cloth Seats, Soft top & AC.
-6 Speed manual, LSD & TC.
-3 Keys: 2 flip keys and one regular chipped.

Always run with Mobil 1 & ATE Blue. Tranny/diff fluids have been freshly changed.

Extras:
-Cosworth Supercharger on stock pulley (8psi)
-AWR Rollbar
-Full Goodwin RoadsterSport exhaust with "Q" muffler
-Mazdaspeed Suspension: sways, springs & shocks. Shocks are a year old)
-235/40-17 Dunlop Direzza Z2's (with only 3 months on them) on 17x7.5 Enkei RP-F1 rims.
-Driver's seat frame lowered to give an extra inch of headroom for taller folks.
-Flyin Miata hitch
-A-pillar boost gauge.

Car was tuned by Mike at Motoeast. The SC bought and installed AFTER companies had figured out how to tune the Mazda ECU (in itself a long story). Monitored & logged by Dashdyno religously. It's a daily commuter that's extremely well behaved in traffic, but is silly quick when the roads get windy. No idle dips or engine codes. Car has not been dyno'd, but equivalent builds run ~240 RWHP. The Sniper ECU re-flash hardware can be included if needed.

Known Issues:
-Thermostat does not seal fully when cold; when the weather nears freezing the car takes longer to get up to temp.
-Passenger wing mirror has crack in the housing.

It's a well cared for car with soft top in excellent shape with no leaks or tears. Paint is in great condition for the mileage, but there are the odd small chips rocker panels & nose. Interior has few scuffs from entry/egress.

I've had a few people asking about what's involved on the upcoming 100k service, so I'd thought I'd share them here:

100k includes replacing the drive belt, all fluids (including diff/tranny) & spark plugs.

As the SC runs different belts & plugs, they were changed when it was installed (30,000kms ago). Coolant, diff & tranny fluids are done at least every two years, brake fluid done every year or so. Pads in rear are brand new, fronts still have a lot of meat on them.

The car has a timing chain, & Mazda doesn't specify a replacement interval. On the forums people are still running strong at 160,000+kms.

Service Manual can be found here:
http://www.mazda.ca/MciWeb/pdf/manua...sManual_EN.pdf

No water pumps or timing belts to replace. Essentially, the 100k service will consist of an oil change and a free vacuum.
