	        | 94 Octane gas only avail at Chevron?

Is Chevron the only gas stn that offers 94 octane? I heard Husky/Mohawk does but their website show nothing in the lowermainland when I put in the search criteria with 94 Octane.

IIRC, Petro Canada and Husky both cited low demands as their reasons to discontinue the 94 octane stuff.

91 Octane is good enough for most cars out there.
McLaren P1, Bugatti Veyron, LaFerrari, Pagani Zonda, even Nissan GT-R, they all require only 91 octane.
But I have heard about some modded high revving Honda engines had to be detuned by Hondata ECU to make it run-able with 91 octane...so I don't know.

Retune your car for 91. Chevron is only in B.C. maybe one in Alberta.

Or maybe have a couple of tunes that you can readily switch between. I know we all love power, but if the available octane grade is limiting where you can take your car to, continuing to use a higher octane tune doesn't make sense to me.

good thing these engines are nearly free

^ lots of guys have water/meth setup to run when there is heavy load or high rpm to keep temps down so its there for safety when beating on the car
these kits come with their own tanks, lines and top into the intake manifold.. not much harm done by these things UNLESS they are tuned to make the most power possible on water/meth.. then you drive hard on an empty tank of water/meth.
i wouldnt mind a setup like that.. one day

more efficiency = less gas
of course 91-94 wont make a huge power difference with a slightly more aggressive tune but i came from NA high comp tuned on 91 getting about 430km/tank average - 2x the power on boost, 94 ocatain but im now getting 450km/tank with simulare driving habits. if im nice to it or do alot of hwy driving i can easily see up to 550 a tank
plus 94 smells sooooo good its almost worth paying more just for that

If you go to the states, get the US 92. The US 92 octane is superior to our chevron 94 octane. I'm tuned on both CAD chevron 94 and US 92. The US 92 allowed my tuner to run more aggressive timing than the CAD 94 tune.

US 92 is far superior than our 94.
