Hard to shift into gear

Hey guys, I've just purchased a 97' ITR yesterday. I bought it for a pretty good price and there are some issues I need to address with it. The car is having a hard time getting into 4th gear. The car also has a hard time going into the 4th gear when my car is off also. All the other gears shift smoothly. Also, my clutch seems to be slipping as well a bit; will this a worn clutch cause my shifting issues?

Thanks!

could be master cylinder, cheaper fix than a new clutch... probably check that out first

As I said in chat, make sure there's no leaks then adjust the clutch pedal, making sure there's enough freeplay. If the clutch doesn't slip after that, change the tranny fluid.

Not a bad idea to change to fluids once you pick up an used car. Oil, tranny, brake fluids.
Congrats on the itr!

Thanks guys, I'll probably just bring my car to G5 and save myself the headache as soon as my friend buys my GSR.
