ITR rear valences

Revscene,

Quick question.. Are the OEM rear valences on an ITR supposed to have a gap like this?

I was told they were supposed to.

I bought some replicas from G5 and they fit like that as well.

Look on the back for honda stamp. You're suppose to install with acura weather stripping, but I don't think it would fill a gap that big.

That yellow ITR is owned by one of the guys that work at Garage Five. Apparently that how it comes from factory..

Can anybody else chime in on this?
