Not every elbow deserves supplemental discipline. It was worth 2 minutes, but I wouldn't say it was vicious enough to warrant anything more.

Edler plays like a pylon again! Neal made it look easy with the power move. :fuuuuu:

Poor Eddie. He played well tonight. It's the guys in front of him that are not playing their best.

When are they ever going to help Eddie get his first win this season?? :suspicious:

AzNightmare 11-02-2014 08:37 PM

Lack always gets the 2nd back-to-back game, so he gets a tired team in front of him.

Hamhuis deflection on the first goal.

Kassian was right there with Forsberg on the second goal, but let him go (also doesn't help that Jokinen somehow didn't get a penalty on the faceoff leading to that play).

Third goal was poor positioning exacerbated by a Hamhuis screen.

Obviously, you can't expect your teammates to be perfect on every play, but the first two in particular were pretty egregious.

Went to the game tonight. Fucking props to the 10 year old girl singing the anthem! Amazing voice and talent. She's better than a lot or anthem singers. Crowd was buzzing after her singing.

Last question, why the fuck did George McPhee trade forsberg for erat? My god. He was your 11th overall pick, and its not like you didn't see him play. He played pretty much a season before you traded him. But damn forsberg is going to be really good. He was all over the ice tonight.

Erat was still scoring when that trade happened

Not really ... 4 goals, 21 points in 36 games isn't exactly "scoring"

Over 82-game season (I know 12-13 was shortened), that's pace for 9 goals, 48 points from a 31-year-old winger. It only made it that much worse that he couldn't even continue at that pace in Washington (2 goals in 62 games :lawl:)

The little girl's voice was amazing! I was sitting close to the tunnel where the zamboni comes in/out and her dad was there waiting for her. You could see the dad was so proud and people were coming up to her giving her high fives after her performance. She's gonna give Mark Donnelly a run for his money!

That's pretty darn smart move by Leggio.. You don't see that happen very often.

Id say

good job

Hondaracer 11-03-2014 03:30 PM

Should almost be an auto goal, that's BS

fliptuner 11-03-2014 03:33 PM

Some may view it as clever but I think it's a weasel move.

This.

Or award 2 penalty shots. One for each player that is on the breakaway.
