Gillis did lots of things right ... Not everything, obviously, but don't act like he was Nonis who actually did very few things right and almost everything wrong (continuing that tradition in Toronto).

also, anyone notice edler's first play in OT? the FIRST time all game we carry the puck in and don't do a drop off pass we get a breakaway scoring chance. Every team plays us for our drop passes, don't know why we don't mix it up more....

Edler has cashed in on that play before. Maybe it was just that one time, actually :lol

at first I wasn't paying attention to who was carrying the puck up and when he made that move..i was like we have someone on our team that can do that?!?? that was edler??
