Vey is a keeper for our future. He's struggling now ya but he's young. I know you guys see him fuck up a lot and all but he actually has a lot of skill. He makes really good passes and sees plays develop before they actually do. Edler fuck up a lot too but he also makes creative plays and passes.

He's young but skilled and has potential. He's obviously not ready yet but I truly believe he'll become a great player for us in the future

Nabatron 03-13-2015 02:54 PM

^Im going to say fuck that shit! Vey is not our future! I would rather have another centre from the farm up here and give them a chance then seeing Vey. I for the life of me dont understand how he gets some much time on the first pp unit and also regular shifts. He is way too soft and I cannot see him more then an in and out of the press box player.

highfive 03-13-2015 03:03 PM

^I would give him a bit more time before judging him.

I feel he's better suited to play wing actually. I don't think with his size he can succeed down the middle in the Western Conference.

6o4__boi 03-13-2015 03:10 PM

He's a Medicine Hat alumni...his spot in the lineup is bulletproof as long as WD is coach.

Lol realized the Leafs are playing tonight too...chances of Canucks losing increased even more :troll:

PiuYi 03-13-2015 03:14 PM

he'll be a solid piece for us in the future for sure (either via trade or with the team) but a young guy that's struggling has to sit and watch for a bit to see where he can improve

that was the case for kenins, horvat, corrado, and even kass, vey should be no different

Nabatron 03-13-2015 06:51 PM

Vey should sit and sit forever!

bobbinka 03-13-2015 07:12 PM

if we lose tomorrow, we don't deserve to be fighting for a playoff spot.

Mike Oxbig 03-13-2015 07:17 PM

Is Kadri gonna be in for the leafs tmr?

Tegra_Devil 03-13-2015 08:36 PM

The flames handled the leafs easily. So u nucks should just squeak by ;)

Bouncing Bettys 03-13-2015 09:15 PM

If the Leafs lose, I'm happy for the tank. If the they defeat the nux, I'm glad to help keep your team treading water.

I will be at the game, my first Leafs game, thanks to the gf. Should be good.

Yeah his 2 game discipline is over

hi-revs 03-13-2015 11:36 PM

Canucks ain't gonna beat leafs.
They always choke against the bad teams.

Tim Budong 03-14-2015 04:51 AM

Scott Gomez on his experience from All Star, to being almost out of the league and then finding the confidence to come back

Not Done | The Players' Tribune

another great article..

EuterVanWasser 03-14-2015 08:15 AM

^ That is a solid read.

murd0c 03-14-2015 09:41 AM

I've always been a fan of Gomez, I watched almost every game when he played for the Surrey Eagles and when him and Shane Kuss was ripping it up. Shane later became my coach and he has nothing but good things to say about him.

except the canucks have only lost one game to the leafs in the last decade

Mike Oxbig 03-14-2015 10:04 AM

Not asking for links but does anyone know how to run VLC links on ipad for games?

(please edit if this post is inappropriate)

bringing up stats in our favour is always kryptonite to this team.

6o4__boi 03-14-2015 10:31 AM

:fuckthatshit: :fuckthatshit: :fuckthatshit:

Stats never work with the Canucks.

Losing 10 games in a row? No problem just play the Canucks.
3 goals for in the last 5 games? Here, have 6 against the Canucks.
Arctic cold power play? No worries go 3/5 against the Canucks.
Played the night before and three hours out of your time zone? No problem, we'll play like we played 4 games in 4 nights 12 hours out of our time zone.
90% chance winning the cup when up 2-0 in the SCF? Here, have the cup.

Just about sums up the franchise since 1970.
:fuckthatshit:

punkwax 03-14-2015 10:41 AM

^So true. Every time I hear Shorty or whoever bring up a stat about the Canucks or an opposing team during a game, I cringe.

spoon.ek9 03-14-2015 11:23 AM

absolutely agree

Tim Budong 03-14-2015 12:24 PM

A tear jerker here...

Bieksa is a really good person.

Canucks mourning sudden death of loyal confidant

68style 03-14-2015 01:00 PM

Oh man... I get so mad at Bieksa sometimes but between stories like this and the Star Wars lego one awhile back I can't be mad at him, such a great guy

spoon.ek9 03-14-2015 02:17 PM

almost game time.... i better start studying now

6o4__boi 03-14-2015 02:24 PM

Is a blowout against the Leafs too much to ask for? Lol
I'm expecting a slow game and the Canucks to struggle scoring
but I'm hoping that the Canucks put at least six behind Bernier.

Idgaf what anyone says about nhl games...this is a gimme gimme no matter which way you slice the cupcake
