| Canada Day Celebration
It's coming up. It falls on a Tuesday this year.
What are some of you guys planning for that long, long weekend (if you're lucky to get Monday and Tuesday off).
List events here, too, for those who are looking for stuff to do.

Oh, I've seen these covers that go over your car's side mirrors (Canadian Red Maple Leaf). I saw one downtown today and asked dude where he got it. Dollar store, he said. Has anyone seen them? As in which dollar store?

I bought a Canadian flag for my car last year that I found in a clearance bin at Extra Foods. I can finally put it to use

I asked for Monday off and was informed that the whole office is closed Monday because in the words of my boss it makes no fucking sense to work Monday and take Tuesday off so 4 day weekend.
If the weather is good we usually go to the Canada Day Event in Cloverdale, music, rides and generally a good time as long as the ground is dry. If it's wet not worth going, it's a giant mudpit. I think it's probably the biggest Canada Even in BC.

Company i'm working for is running skeleton staff on monday, therefore I am not working either.
4 day road trip to okanagan somewhere, maybe shuswaps...
EDIT: Still got fireworks from halloween, definitely gonna set those up, and I mean like REAL fireworks, not those junk firecrackers.
