i know, i didnt wanna post with no update but also didnt want it forgotten :(

Saw an update, hoped for the best, saddened still :(

i was on the highway yesterday thinking about your car and how i'd rap....err hurt the person responsible if i saw them. every white ef i see(not many) i try to get up close and see what the dash looks like. :D also would be helpful to have a vin handy for the up close and personal inspections

In case these asshole thieves are smarter than the average bear maybe some part names or brands would help in the search. Like Garrett/Borg Warner, Turbosmart, CRX dash, 949 wheels, etc. It's not like it's a secret now so let's hope we catch some fucking idiot being a fucking idiot on CL. It would absolutely make my summer to administer some punishment to the appropriate party.

hmm, ill update this thread with build list, pics i have and any numbers i have for anything.. luckily i have ALOT of pictures of every part on that car

is it a good idea to post a build list? worried that it will be a shopping list for thieves :(

first mods should be anti theft with tracking! :thumbsup:

The Build Threads area is blocked off from member until they have like 300 posts, or 1 year. So I think that's pretty safe...

Kinda disappointing when you register, and can't see what a lot of people come on here for, I completely understand. The reasoning behind the thought process is pretty solid though.

You have been a member for awhile, maybe just PM a mod and they can open access for you.

I know this is a month later but since it was parked in your driveway have you looked into seeing if you can claim it under your house insurance? This happened to a friend some years ago and his home insurance covered everything including all mod's that were done to the car.

In order to go through ICBC but i thought if you claimed it through your home insurance it will be automatically covered since it's on your property?

Not sure if renter's insurance would cover it or if he even has it. The increase in premiums makes it not worth it for some, so you'd have weigh it out.

It took them 2 days to get a warrant to search the rest of the property? I wonder how much stuff they hauled out in the meantime.

Fingers crossed that it's one of those 6.

no luck! sorry to get anyones hopes up with this post.. still havnt slept properly. i go out every night to check on the my car in the driveway.. sometimes as late as 5am

anyways the reason im posting is that another hatch got stolen not to far away last week, it was just found in langley stripped and apparently being prepped to be set on fire.. the owner told me the thieves were caught (6 of them) so if it only took them a week to take down his hatch i dont think mine is still in one piece

that being said parts may or may not start popping up so here is a quick list with pictures and details.. maybe something will pop up
