Wow the memories. Got my start as the "Lot Boy" at Dennison Jeep in Richmond. Good luck finding someone.

Are you only looking to work on cars? I work in the forklift industry. AFAIK they pay better and are always looking for young talent.

I've been in the forklift industry for years and if you get into a good company, they'll train you but you need a good mechanical aptitude. Unfortunately some of them throw the young guys into the fire and get their training on the fly. Try to get into working on the electric units, there's a much bigger demand for guys that are good with troubleshooting electrical problems.
