UNofficial 2014 "How fast does yo whip get to 60mph?" SOOOOO, after the 2 pages of 0-60 times being posted in the "2014 latest pic of yo whip" thread i figured this was necessary. Use either times found on more reputable sites (Motor Trend, car and driver, smoking tire etc) not bimmerpost.com/best0-60timesbro.com. :troll: I'll start; 2014 V6 Automatic (:troll:) Mustang MotorTrend timed at 5.8 seconds 0-60. Fastest posted 0-60; "MPR" 2.7 seconds Nissan GTR Slowest posted 0-60; "Nabs" 6.6 seconds; Acura TSX |
You know what would be a really sweet RS meet? Renting out an autocross field or parking lot (whatever), getting the right gear to test it, then everyone gets to do a 0-60 and get a photo and 1080p video of their car + measured 0-60 time. Brand this and then do this in cities across North America, make fat cash by charging for the photo, video, and $5 for each timed 0-60 run. Fuck the best night time drag strip in the city is right beside my house, I might just do this at 4 AM! What's the most accurate tool to measure 0-60? |
inb4 people blowing their shit up over finding the time |
That's actually not a terrible idea... Rent out the autocross half pad, set up an accurate timing system for 0-60 and charge 5 bucks a run... Would probably make a few bucks. |
'14 focus ST bone stock. Road and track tested it at a consistent 5.9 0-60 |

2008 Lexus ISF 4.2 sec to 60, by road and track |
Not my car but this one is stock and probably has some generic rubber on it. Factory / magazine tested at 6.6 sec With my intake & free flowing straight through cat back system, I'm averaging 6.4 sec on stock crappy tires. |
6.6 seconds e92 328xi |
2006 IS350 according to zeroto60times.com 0-60 mph 5.0 Quarter mile 13.5 |
Whole lot of bench racing going on here!!! Until YOU ran your car, you have no idea what your real 0-60 time is. They have: Pro drivers Optimal conditions Supplied "factory" cars Sponsors/Manufacturers they need to please You have: Real world conditions I think a 0-60 testing day would shock people as to what their car really actually runs 0-60 when they try it! |

E92 335i Tune by itself is any where from 4.0 to 4.5 + intake + exhaust + better rubber = maybe closer to 4.0 than 4.5 Not that I care too much, it feels fast enough for me. |
