Anyone else playing this game? I just got into the alpha two days ago and played through the tutorial. Was a bit boring, but most likely just because it was the tutorial. Haven't had much time, especially with TI4 going on.

Still waiting to get in on beta. I normally have no interest in this type of game, but nobody does it better than Blizzard so I'll check it out when I can.

Still waiting on my invite as well :( 2 of my friends beat me into getting their invites and they don't even have games on their blizz accounts :|

Does anyone know when invites are being sent out?

Game doesn't look like I will enjoy it. I can see it drawing people that don't currently play a different moba though.

Yeah this is pretty much for people new to mobas... But if they do for mobas what they did for card games with Hearthstone, or RTS with Starcraft and Warcraft, or MMOs with WOW, this should be a really good game.

It will easily be the most polished game and should make a boatload of cash for them as people (like me) will buy skins with real money. I'm embarrassed at how much money I've sunk into League of Legends..

Been playing for a week or so now.

A easy game for anyone to pick up compare to Dota2/LoL
I would even say is an arcade version of those classic moba or battleground in World of Warcraft.
The game starts, you get in there and get kills right away and have instant fun!
Game are at most 20~25 mins long.
Definitely for people who don't want to invest time to learn and play Dota2/LoL.

A con is the F2P business model. You pay real money to unlock heroes or you use the in-game currency to unlock them.
The in-game currency can be ONLY be obtained by doing quest.
You do not get in-game currency for playing/winning a game (as of this post).
A new quest appears everyday, so you cannot really grind to unlock a new hero.
But, if the game is fun, I'm sure people won't mind dropping money on it.

I don't think it will be as big as Dota2 or LoL.
Mechanic is too bland to really get "pro" in it.
The game require some balancing and tweak here and there.
But lots of potential in it especially with the large heroes pool from Warcraft/Starcraft/Diablo !

Oh god I don't even wanna know how skins I own on League :fuckthatshit:

They started invites outside the US beginning of July, got my invite last week.

Seeing as you share EXP with your team, if you don't have 4 of your friends playing with you or have good communication, I can see this as very rage inducing for some people.

i like how it's a lot more direct than the other games... no confusing item stacking and shit.

it's very straight forward. more team work and playing than... knowing stacks and whatever.

How long did it take you guys to get beta key?

Still waiting for one. I hear MOBAs are great, but it's too late to get into the big ones. I'll give this one a try when I can

i find it's too simple and that it just feels like some dota event

Got mine last week. Played first game and it felt really fun...

Solo queue is a little bit more confusing since its more of a team orientated game and there is no voice chat or complex pinging system (like in League of Legends).

But yea, it is very simple like the other people have said, no items or anything so its just straight killing/fighting

some of the talents are way op =S

there's not a lot of people, sometimes you can't even find a group cuz there's not enough players online.

are you talking about the pinging system like on my way or retreat? if so, there is one.

i feel blizzard has done a good job on alpha so far. it will bring alot of people in that wants to try moba but LoL or DotA2 is too much. the simplicity of just skills is great.

however, i feel like that this game is too heavily based on map events. although teamwork is fairly a must in all these moba games, i get the vibe that its even more so more important in blizzards version just because of map events.

My mistake, the first time I played it my graphics bugged out a little and couldn't see the pinging system.

got my invite several weeks back. enjoying the simplicity of it over LoL

I find it's way too simplistic compared to the other MOBAs out there.

The nice thing about being in on the alpha is that all your resources and scores you receive will be kept. They have no plans to wipe after alpha is over.

Oh yeah, there's like 5 or 6 characters that come free at the start. The other ones need to be unlocked via in game gold that you get for winning matches or you can buy them outright. I think most of them are going for $9.99 :heckno:

That is exactly why i want this game so badly, it's so simple to play HIGH! ^_^ :nyan: No items to buy.... no last hitting... no denying... Perfect game for a stoner. All you gotta do is farm exp or gank. This game is highly dependent on 5 man fights and the objectives, if you are outnumbered . FUARK GG
