I am 4 days older than my wife.

hud 91gt 07-31-2014 10:36 PM

I dated a 34 y/o for 2 year's when I was 24. She was immature, I was a mature 24. Great relationship. Hitting the border of the magic rule. It was great. Sex was awesome. Interesting/smart and great life experiences, but unless I was ready to jump into things head first, a woman in their mid thirties is getting antsy.

The other way around, if a guy doesn't care about a chick who has nothing to talk about but her University days, or perhaps her trip to Thailand riding an elephant, i'm sure you'll get along great :p

For now, i'll stick to a couple years younger then my own age.

I'm 30, gf is 23. No major problems so far since she is pretty mature for her age. Only issue so far is that I've been working for a while and she is still in school. But she knows what she wants to do in life and is almost there so we will be in the same position soon.

1. Very rare to see a girl taller and the dude
2. Even more rare to see a jacked dude with a fat chick
3. Even more ridiculously rare to see a hot chick with a broke dude
4. Impossibly rare to see a fat, bald, short guy with a beautiful woman

Whether you want to admit it or not, we follow unconscious rules about dating and attraction.

what? I see fat bald, short guys and 80lbs weird looking honger dudes with the hottest chicks all the time, what must be the appeal? hmmmmmmm

18-22 Two years, either side.

23-28 Three years younger <> 30's.

29-35 Four years younger <> doesn't matter.

Roughly, that's what most of my friends and I stick to. To be honest, a guy in his 30's with a 20 year old girlfriend is fucking creepy, there are a few exceptions, though I find them to be rare.

mr_chin 08-01-2014 07:46 PM

my rule of thumb is

no less than 2 sandwiches a day
a full load of laundry
and a selection of clean plates and utensils.

Mine was born on the same year, same day, same hour, and same second as me. I call her le Lefty.

jk i'm married and she's 8 months younger but le lefty and I are still really close. We've reconnected our need for each other since my wife's pregnancy. Le lefty never disappoints.

no offense to anyone dating someone significantly younger but you're writing this on a site that had an asian jailbait thread with too much traffic that mods had to close it down :grinno:

Dating younger women is easier because you don't need to be responsible, you just have to be the dancing monkey that entertains them and strokes their egos

EuterVanWasser 08-02-2014 05:38 PM

Started dating my wife when I was in my mid 20s.. she's 4 years older than me - personally I've always found older women with their shit together more attractive than younger girls.

Does it help if I don't look much older than 25?

yes precisely. after all, the most worshipped people on this planet, celebrities, are just very fancy versions of jesters and clowns. we live in a society that worships these things. entertainers. everyone wants to be an entertainer!

Spoiler!

He's not doing it right. No woman wants to date a guy who works weird hours (can't travel with him if he does), is out of shape (most likely if he works weird hours and doesn't eat well), and works with people who probably don't read books for fun.

I'm 33 and my GF is turning 47. Age is nothing but a number.

mk1freak 08-05-2014 03:44 PM

hmm let's see:

Family of 6 = check

first set of twins =1 bday to remember
second set of twins = 1 bday to remember
SO >>same year and day of birth = 1 bday to remember

only having to remember 3 bdays in a year = priceless :fullofwin:

oh im older by about 4 hours :fuckyea:
