If you need a wedding photographer I do wedding photography with a friends business and do high end quality work at a fair price. PM me for details or questions. We also have a photo booth we can include too. :)

Chair covers are annoying to sit on. Also, I like to park my feet under my chair, and kicking the cover makes me rage. Needless to say, I shot down my mother-in-law's desire for chair covers with great prejudice.

hire a wedding planner, most good planners have the inside track with vendors and are able to get you better prices with higher quality.

They know all the small details when it comes to your wedding day. They do the running around and organizing during your wedding day instead of you or your friends so you guys are left to actually enjoy it and not stress about your vendors and schedule.

If anyone needs a nice suit or black tuxedo, EXPRESS has a 40% off sale right now

Suits and Blazers | EXPRESS

I bought my suit from there (before wedding) and I ended up buying a tuxedo there, and I got all 4 suits for my groomsmen there. Really nice slim fitting Photographer style cut.

Thanks for the help everyone!

Do you guys know a place to print Chinese wedding invitations? I know some people order online from China/HK and have them shipped, but turnaround time is too long for us. Have you guys dealt with anyone locally that could do this?

No, it was mine. And she pulled through with the hipster band. :troll:

Just kidding. It was a friend's wedding (who happens to be on RS too!) Lisa is a "Shut Up And Take My Money!" type of professional. :woot2:

Haha she is going to be ecstatic when I tell her that when she gets home.

I'm surprised only one person suggested our very own, Mananetwork aka Tomasz Wagner. Super professional, beautiful photos and he also does his own videography.

i'm going out of the norm and say, focus on the marriage and not the reception...

Attended a wedding this weekend that hired SoWedding as their photographers and can't say enough about how unprofessional they were during the entire ceremony process. Their lead photographer (I think his name is Nick) would constantly make inappropriate sexually suggestive jokes when kids were around. There was point where he got on a table to take a group photograph and he started shaking his ass on the table and asking everyone for tips and to stuff it down his pants.

I'm all for having a good time, but when you're being hired for your services then you should act professional. Going around making sexual jokes and acting like a complete goofball is the complete opposite of that. A bunch of us were talking about that during the wedding dinner and just how blown away we were at how they acted. We were shocked to see a company that is used in so many weddings to be acting the way they did.

Ouch. That's not cool by any means.

I hope at least the wedding was good!

Wedding was great.

Professionalism of photographers during the ceremony wasn't.

I have a florist suggestion. All my friends go to SouthVan mkt next to the Chevron on 57th and Knight. Which is weird since it just looks like a corner store but they seem to get the job done.
