Stuff broken: A/C, needs new front brake pads, wiper motor linkage.

Mechanically sound otherwise.

what are you hoping to get for it, or do you just want it gone? a quick check on craigslist has this model year going for $300 for a dead one...

if you haven't already, i would advertise it on craigslist as a repairman's special for maybe $100-200 more than what was said above to give you negotiating room and see what bites. at least yours still runs. the others i saw advertised do not or are not complete.

I m sure you can get close to 500 for a van.

I got 250 for a tiny hatchback.

I used these guys, I called around and all of them were "i ll have to take a look" and what not.

this guy came and handed me cash before he even looked at the car.

Put it up on Craigslist and see what offers you get first before scrapping it imo.

I scraped a 91 MPV in 2004 and they gave me 300 for the car and 250 for the cat. You have to cut off the cat yourself and drive it there to maximise its worth. I took the car to amix (sp?) In Surrey. I had a friend call pick n pull about his 2002 freelander and they would only give him 300 bucks. He ended up selling the car for 500 bucks worth of labour on his other car.
