I personally have cold hands, so I run Burton AK gloves, with an Under Armor innerliner. This allows me to shed a layer easily when not necessary to reduce bulk and keep cool. Also on really cold days allows me to get to my phone and use it without taking off all my hand protection.
(the UA stuff has fingertip things which allow you to use your phone while wearing them, and it works really well).

Do you recall where you bought the UA stuff and also where to get pipe style gloves specifically? Thanks!

Check that out for Park/Pipe Gloves. I actually have a pair of Neff Rovers from last year, I used them for later in the season when it got warm out. I liked them.
As for UA gear, I know sportchek sells em. I don't know other than that. I actually get stuff straight from UA, as one of the companies I contract to is works closely with the brand.

What do you guys think of Revelstoke around December 15th <
I'm thinking of going there with a group of friends for our Christmas Break.
Thoughts?

Its EARLY. Thats a crapshoot for snow conditions. It will definitely be fun, but who knows how much snow will have fallen by then. Its pretty likely its not going to be too filled in. They can get hit hard by snow in a pretty short period of time, but consider thats only 1 month away, and there hasn't been a head start on precipitation.

They still had quite a few pairs when I snagged mine. Warm and very low profile. If you are planning to go south of the border, definitely check out the Oakley outlet. |

Just gotta find time to head down there, last two times I've gone down I haven't been too successful in finding things, although I wasn't looking for snowboarding gear.
Saw you in rmd at a hotpot place last week-ish on my way out of there I think, lol.
Side question: Any of the places on burrard/4th sell Neff gloves? I think I recall seeing a Neff store at Alderwood Mall down south.

West49 seems to have a decent Dakine collection of gloves, just saw it walking by the park royal store a couple days ago. Not sure what they had, didn't need gloves myself.

I know Pacific Boarder carries some Neff stuff, but Zumiez has their gloves for sure. I don't ever recall seeing a Neff store at Alderwood...

I think what I saw was a skater-type store that was advertising a collaboration with Neff x another brand. They had a lot of signage and posters depicting snowboarding/winter.

Going down to the outlets in Oregon next week on my days off. There will be lots of skiing gear purchased.
The only thing I "need" is a jacket and pants, but we'll see what else I convince myself to get. Helly Hansen is gonna love me...

Cypress meets this season? Anyone interested? I know there will be a range of skill levels, like our last big meet, but we all managed to tone in down a bit or step it up to ride together and it was awesome!

Would you guys prefer in December or January?
For me if its in December, I can do weekends/weekdays(Dec 29/30 only). Or else only weekends for January because I work M-F.

Down for meets, for real this time.
Hit up Cypress today, was pretty busy at about 10 am when we got there. One run open still, wasn't too good but it was fun to just get out there and ski again. Boooo, skiers. Can't wait for more snow |
