Any good edge cases?

dropped mine into a bowl of pho yesterday lol. fuck.
turned on for a bit but didnt read the sim card.

leaving it in a box of rice krispies cereal for now cuz they apparently suck out more moisture than rice.

I have fixed a few by cleaning everything with 99% isopropyl alcohol and letting dry. Success is pretty close to 100 percent except one iPhone that the backlight for the lcd wouldn't work. If you go this route make sure it is 99 and not 70. Good luck!

I'm glad the Note 4 is at least rated to be water resistant and dust resistant unlike the new S6.

You might be referring to the S5, the Note 4 is really not at all.

Did anyone else do the lollipop update(on Telus) on the weekend?

When I bought the phone, all the manuals in the box for the Note 4 referred to instructions as to how to keep the phone water and dust resistant.

Also I received the OTA update yesterday for Lollipop but I'm gonna wait a bit first I think before upgrading.

anyone have any problems with their stock weather app when swiping? Mine has a really long delay when I swipe it. Same with the briefing app. Also, has anyone had experience with the service centre? Was told I can bring my phone there and get it fixed within the same day.

note 4 isnt water resistant the chargin and headphone port is open lol

ok here's one for you guys:

dam phone started giving me audible no service notifications.
usually we can just turn it off in sound settings but I can;t seem to find it anymore.
also the notification dropdown doesn't have the notification so i can long press and disable all i get is the audible notification :fulloffuck:

Deciding between this and nexus6

im in the same dilemma. dont know if i want the note 4, s6 or nexus 6. but from most of the video reviews i've seen the note 4 is better than the nexus 6. all i've got to say is that if the nexus 6 was cheaper at around $650, i would have ordered one already. but with the 64gb sitting at just under $900 with tax... fuck. its a lot of money for a phone with a non stellar camera and screen.

I sucked it up and got nexus 6

Touch Wiz sucks and I love my nexus5.

used to have the recent apps or whatever as a icon on my screen so I can easily end all but with the update its gone

Somehow it kinda feels like a step backwards

if you press the left button beside the home key (two overlapping boxes), it should show up a list of all the apps that are open. on the bottom right of the screen, there should be a faint button that shows 3 lines with an X. That should kill all apps.

yea I know I rather have an icon that takes me to that screen as well lol

hate that it keeps asking me to update to lollipop everytime I unlock my phone. Ended up pressing the install button by accident :rukidding:

Edit: why the he'll did they take away the easy way of making your phone silent/loud by holding down on the power button? Smh

Kinda glad I haven't jumped onto Lollipop yet. Some of the things you guys are annoyed with makes me wanna hold off or not even consider upgrading yet :pokerface:
