2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport

2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport Priced at $38,920 | Edmunds.com

I been waiting for something like this for a long time.
Can't wait to see it in person.
I feel like making a deposit right now, since I'm planning for a baby next year.
Have anyone had any experience with Land Rover?
I was originally planning to get a X3 so this will be the direct rival.
Any thoughts?

Ugh, don't like that design language at all.

If you're looking specifically for an SUV because of family stuff, try checking out the new Volvo XC90. It's upmarket, adheres to Volvo's crazy safety requirements and, in my opinion at least, pretty damn gorgeous. Plus you know it'll last a lot longer than any Land Rover...

Since they got bought out by tata their reliability has improved a lot. I would not hesitate to buy a land Rover if I had the opportunity

People need to stop having a certain opinion on automakers just because of popular opinion. It's really lazy to like something because everyone else does or to rag on something because everyone else does.
A Land Rover today is no less reliable than any other similar SUV.

Interior is bland and gross
Rear end looks like it was designed by a 2 year old
Front is typical modern Land Rover design.

As of now I think the Macan is the best small luxury SUV/SAV

Have you owned a new one for a few years? CEL and air ride problem free?

Everything I've heard from Land Rover owners I know have been negative comments regarding how frequently they break down and how much time their cars spend at the dealer getting repaired.

From what I hVe observe over the years

- expensive to buy
- hilarious amounts of depreciation
- expensive to maintain
- frequent problems
- expensive to run; bad fuel economy and premium fuel
