The wait is finally over, I finally found a 4runner and purchased it tonight.
A few cosmetic issues, but mechanically very sound. 370k but all the maintenance is up to date, along with brand new winter tires which is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect winter beater.

Nice! Congrats. Same color combo as mine. You can remove the running boards for more clearance. I always find my shin bashing up against them so I removed mine. Other than being a bit under powered and kind of a pig on gas they are spectacular in all other categories.

Yea that's basically the jist of what everyone tells me about them. I'll keep the running boards in for now. There's a couple trim pieces missing on the edge of the bumpers which Id like to eventually get, but really not a big deal.

Its a 4runner.
Guy wanted $4k for it, I got him down to $2750. Good deal in my opinion given some of the ridiculous prices of 3rd gen 4runners on Craigslist right now..

Driver side rear is more of a concern because it is part of the mudflap assembly. I'm missing my passenger front flare extension myself. The few people that would notice probably think it's gone so that I don't tear it off with my tire stuffed but it just didn't come with the vehicle. I deal with it by only photographing it from the driver's 3/4 perspective and parking in ways that I walk directly to my door.

Spoiler!

Welcome to the wonderful world of the m̶o̶n̶e̶y̶p̶i̶t̶ 4Runner!

^ haha thanx. Looking forward to it!

..as for the missing trim, its missing on both sides on the front bumper, and there some slight body damage on the rear drivers side, where its also missing the trim. Tbh I really dont care for these types of things cosmetically, the car is almost in pristine condition mechanically which is what matters to me.
Having said that I've already been browsing CL for these missing trim pieces haha

you can get spacers to lift it as cheap as 200-300 or you can get suspension kits up to 7k.

depends on what you want from the lift.
