Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Is anybody considering buying this? I am looking to make a switch from my iPhone 5 and am thinking about an Android device for the first time. The Sony has some features that I really like but ultimately I think the small size and finish of the Samsung package is the most appealing to me. I don't really care about the lack of external storage since my current iPhone is a 16gb and is barely full - 32gb would be fine.

I was also looking at the S5 Mini but it seems that in most ways the Alpha is a much better phone, but I'm not really an expert so any input is appreciated.

Cheers,
Mark

For me if I have to pick between Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy S5 Prime I would like the S5. Seems the Alpha is under power when compare to the S5 prime. The Alpha only have a 720p display.

I was looking at this at the store the other day. I really like the build quality and the metal frame. If you look at its specs... it's like a sub-flagship and I would get it if it wasn't priced like it was a S5.

I think this is a better phone than the mini if that's what you're looking at.

I was looking over this comparison:
Samsung Galaxy Alpha vs. Galaxy S5 mini

The screen is larger, it's much thinner, more RAM, better camera - seems like a no brainer. It amazes me that the S5 mini is so close in price.

Do a comparison on gsmarena.com

The Alpha costs more, on contract, than the S5, and the S5 is better.
