where to sell used wheels

Are there any places in the lower mainland that will purchase used wheels (aftermarket rims and tires)? Looking for things other than traditional craigslist and kijiji. Thanks

If you're friends with any of the speed shops around town I'm sure they'll help you sell it on consignment. Mind you don't expect to get the maximum amount of money for it because someone else is selling it for you so they'll expect to make something off it.

Otherwise craigslist + RS I find is best for local. If you're expecting top dollar for something used, you may be sitting on it awhile. If you're reasonable with the price you could likely get rid of your wheels in a matter on days.

long shot but have you tried the local shops like volco or national tire? it's been awhile since i've been to either but i remember they used to keep a used inventory back in the day...

Helps if you tell us what type of wheels they are...

Are we talking HRE's here? or some XXR's?

If you are trying to get rid of some High $$$ wheels, then you are pretty much hooped, not many people round here dropping $5k on a wheel and tire package, and those who are, will probably buy them new...

The quick answer is yes. There are tire/wheel shops out there that will write you a cheque for them. BUT, be prepared to accept pennies on the dollar. Shedding a little light on what you have might help us offer some deeper insight.
