this is what Vancouver has created - these monsters (figuratively and literally), who just care about what people think about them, how jealous ppl are of their parents' money (claimed to be theirs).

the sad thing is, you see a lot of these traits in many chinese-canadian women in Vancovuer, and as you say, it is disgusting.

i have the utmost respect for someone that has worked damn hard, educated themselves, taken risks and opportunities that many can't - whether they want to flash that cash, or be more discreet is their choice, they have earned that choice. these cunts are just vile.

it's sad that the production team feel confident enough that there are ppl that want to watch this drivel that it is getting made, but the even more sad thing is that a lot of young women will likely get affected by this and yearn to be like this.

Hope they stop making these shows that claim to represent Vancouver. The only thing they are doing is tarnishing this cities image. They sure don't represent the woman of Vancouver.

I know a couple of girls from China who are actually serious, multi coal harbor condo owner rich and they are nothing like this. Then again they aren't the typical "hot" asian girl that these ones represent. Maybe it takes a certain combination of wealth and looks, and not either alone to achieve these attitudes

My parents are self made and worth a fair bob, difference is I'm not getting a penny of it unless there's left over when they die, and I don't want there to be a penny, they taught me to educate myself, work hard, live within my means, etc. they should enjoy every penny of their fortune, heck, they can blow it all and my siblings and I will support them in their golden years... All Bc I know when I retire I'll be rich as fuck in the back of the lessons they taught me.

If you're going to continue generalizing, at least differentiate between those "Chinese-Canadians" who were born here/immigrated decades ago, have little to no ties to Mainland China and work for a living (even if their parents are wealthy) vs those ostentatious China FOBs that started immigrating here mostly in the past decade that are powered by parents.
