any benefit to paying ticket early?

quick question i got speed ticket today near ubc while on my way to classes. i was told i can get reduction of 25$ if i pay within 1 month. is there any other benefit to doing so? thank you

I heard if you pay early, they might forward a note to your student record and there's the possibility you won't be able to write your final exam.

If I were you, I wouldn't pay it off until January. Better safe than sorry bro.

The Police do not contact others and tell them you got a VT for a MV Act charge. IF you got some sort of UBC ticket that relates to UBC only, they may require payment before you get exam results.

If its a speeding ticket at or near ubc it was probably a mountie who issued it. If you are not disputing the charges you might as well take full advantage of the $25 dollar discount and pay it early.
