| e39 BMW 540i 6-speed swap
Selling a full 6-speed transmission swap from a 1998 540i.
$1200.
One catch:
- The car is still whole and I'll need help dismantling it (I assume if you are looking for this swap you know what you're doing). I have basic tools, socket set, a jack and 2 jackstands so you'll need to bring whatever else is required to drop the tranny, etc. On the plus side, you can drive it up and down the alley to test it out before buying.
The car is sitting at 295,000KM. The shift linkage is sloppy so it probably needs new bushings but the shifts are solid. Stays in gear, no weird noises, everything appears to be working perfectly. The clutch has less than 40,000KM on it (I'll dig up the receipt to get an exact number).
