Used gsxr 600, what to look for?

Tomorrow evening I'm going to look at a 2005 gsxr-600, and I know a few of you on here have gixxer's. Is there anything specific to these bikes I should be looking for?

I've contacted a few bike's and all of them so far hAve had the front brake recall done.

In the price range and years I'm looking, I don't expect low mileage show room condition bikes. But as long as they haven't been dropped [at speed] and have some service records, I'd be comfortable. Also I'll be judging the bike by the owner as well. A young 19 year old kid with his hat backwards probably didn't take it in for every service

Vexor is the resident GSXR expert ... he'll chime in as soon as he sees this I'm sure.

jeez, putting all the pressure on me....

I'm not too familiar with the older bikes but doing a quick search on Suzuki GSX-R Motorcycle Forums: Gixxer.com it seems like the 04/05 models are known to have starter button issues (apaprently cheaply made and could break or overheat) and a STVA (secondary throttlebody valve assembly) issue. Apparently that throws a C28 code on the dash.

Other than that it's like any other vehicle. Make sure it's been maintained and had its fluids flushed at regular/recommended intervals and if it's got more mileage check to see if it has had the Valve clearance adjustment done.

Ended up buying one of the gsx-r600's. I'll be picking it up next week. Bone stck aside from frame sliders. Really clean with maintenance kept up for the most part. The only things I'll want to do is new levers as I don't much like the stock ones. And then maybe an exhaust further down the line
