yeah what under said there are shops in the mall that will engrave things for you like this place in coquitlam centre Engraved Gifts Create Lasting Memories | Things Engraved (similar stores in each mall)

or you could buy a little engraver like this (think they're around $10-$20)

and engrave it yourself, adds that personal touch to it

Any recommendations for someone who likes beer? I'm not going to get him beer, but something related to that. I'm getting him granville island brewery tour tickets and 1 more thing, not sure what.

He doesn't have a lot of interests, but he likes cooking, cats (doesn't have one though), leather things like bags, shoes, wallets I expect. He goes to SFU. I'm thinking of either 1 thing or several, such as a tumbler (I want to engrave one but don't know how), something for his kitchen maybe a nice knife, a backpack, or something tech related. All suggestions appreciated!

I'd go for a good knife. Find a 75% off sale and find him a beauty. The Bay has good sales, but generally on sets. I'd love a nice handcrafted Japanese knife.

I really don't know much about Knives. But if you know a chef they could help you out. I'd be pretty happy if I found this under the tree.

If he is indeed really into cooking, he may already have decent knives. Investigate to see if he has sharpening stones. They can be a little pricey, and not as exciting as a knife but if he loves to cook, nothing better then a sharp knife. So you need something to keep it sharp ;)

I would recommend this tour over the standard Granville Island Brewery tour... a bus takes you to multiple craft breweries with tastings: Vancouver Brewery Tours

You mean ipad mini 3? Coz Ipad mini 2 doesn't have gold and no finger pritn scanner. To be honest get the ipad mini 2 the only difference between the ipad mini2 and 3 is that 3 have the gold color and a finger print scanner. Not worth the upgrade.

Got my dad a new Honda snowblower.
Taking GF to Tofino for New Year's and got her some small gifts to open on Xmas morn.
Picked up some Pathfinder books for my brother.
Got a season pass to Butchart Gardens for my mom.
Canucks tickets for myself and my best friend.
Bought every table a pitcher of beer for my co-workers at the Xmas party.

Awaiting my usual assortment of socks, underwear, and guilt trips from those I didn't buy presents for in return ...

A nice tea set from Davids tea, coffee mug and some quality coffee? Red wine is usually a safe bet as well.

Seriously more of you should consider getting the GF a 302 and a T5 delivered to her place on a pallet. She'll love it, I promise!
