Cheap and good exhaust shops around town?

Looking to get a muffler and resonator delete what are some good shops with cheap prices? Quality of work doesn't have to be the best just as long as its not bad.

define *around town* i have a friend in abby that does great work out of his shop at home that could probably do it cheaper than most shops

i can confirm with him but obviously welding straight pieces of pipe in without flanges would be cheaper than making test pipes

also size piping? mild, aluminized or stainless?

Drive to Abby and get it done.

That way you can enjoy the fresh sound on the way back home.

And stop by the drug store on the way to grab some Advil

VIP Performance does some good work, helped me put on my exhaust no problems at all, easy to deal with and great service

But seriously, if you're looking for cheap and quick work (not necessarily good...), as mentioned above, Mufflerman is the way to go.

I have done a testpipe delete replaced with a straight pipe on my S2000 at Midus near Willingdon and Lougheed. Quality work and I spent $75? This was many years ago though.

April of this year I believe? I spoke to Joe over the phone at first when he quoted me approx 110 depending on number of hangers and complexity. When i finally went in he said 90 would be fine so im guessing mine was a straightforward job.

Mine was literally a 30 minutes job tho so i guess it depends how your exhaust is designed.

Mufflerman is NOT a good place to go. DO NOT GO THERE, its good if you want cheap and shoddy work, and if price is your only thing your going on. They screwed up my exhaust TWICE! The second time i went for an "adjustment" because of their initial screw up, they took a pipe stuck it in the exhaust pipe, and started reefing on it to try and "adjust" it. WTF. As soon as I saw that I just told them to get my car off the lift and drove it away.

Another member on here, the exhaust fumes were leaking sooo much he was smelling it all the time in the car, the welds were absolute shit on his car, he had to take it into another shop to get fixed.

Go to Speed Syndicate.

Speed Syndicate doesn't screw around, seeing the custom headers they put together and weld up look pretty nice....Cheap?...you get what you pay for.

Really depends on what you're doing. I went to Quiet Muffler and Mufflerman to get quotes before I decided to go with Quiet Muffler who gave me a better price
