I think Quantum of Solace was better, even with soundtracks.
Special effects, however, were on a one level.

so...who's the next BOND?

Daniel Craig Says He?s Done With Bond; Is Search Now On For New 007? | Deadline

Maybe he had one too many martinis but Daniel Craig was in full-on truth mode when he seemed to indicate in an interview with the UK’s Time Out that his time as Britain’s favorite spy was over. When asked if the actor, who plays the iconic James Bond for a fourth time in the upcoming Spectre, would do another 007 film, the answer was salty, to say the least. “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” said Craig. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

Bond collections by actor is on sale at amazon at the moment. $9.97 for dvd or $13.49 for blu ray.

not a bad deal esp if you've got prime

Pretty good movie, I liked it. Although the previous two movies are still my favorites.

7/10

I'd rank Casino Royale > Skyfall > Spectre

Well I quite liked it. They started getting back to more of the classic Bond sly-off-the-cuff humour and quips, Connery-style. And as much as I like Judi Dench and thought she was a wicked M, it's nice to not have M constantly breathing down Bond's neck all through the movie. He was spending as much time fighting her as the bad guys (come to think of it, so as Pierce).

I did re-watch Casino and Skyfall before going to Spectre... wishing I'd re-watched Quantum as well, since all three tie in to this one... but especially Quantum.

If I had one beef, it would probably be that the car chase was lame and went on too long.

I wished I came into this thread before going to watch it. Yep, Casino Royale and Skyfall were that much better.

i saw it on sunday... like everyone else i set my expectations too high thinking it would top casino royale, which is my #1. i would rate this at #3 behind skyfall.

I saw it last night, i actually preferred it over quantum. I thoyght it was good, definitely not the worst bond movie.l, not even close.

In terms of talking to action ratio i thought it was good, way more action then talking.

storyline was a bit stale because its the same old revenge scenario. But the action scenes were great, yah i wish it had a more epic car chase like "the world is not enough". Especially considering the cars they used!

I think a lot of people are piling on due to snowball effect, I don't think it was as bad as people are making it out to be. No, it wasn't Casino or Skyfall but I still found it entertaining and good.
