Cleaning the old gasket will not do any good.
You can get those foam tape and tape around the sealing edge.

Something like this: TAGO | Closed-Cell Sponge Rubber Tape | Home Depot Canada

So no gasket at all, just the foam tape?

The foam tape works as the gasket.
Just don't get something too thin and it will work just fine.

So the leak seems to be gone. Now I just need to fix the seats. They have a nasty mold and they're perforated leather so I'm guessing the water got in easily.

Has anyone ever dealt with cleaning molded seats? If so, what's the process? The car is already crammed enough as it is, not having the extra seats to put stuff on really sucks

Replace them if you can, they will probably never be the same...

Maybe its time to get the red interior from a JDM BB6

I actually have some water in my trunk from those sunroof drain tubes. I ordered new ones in case I can't clean out the old. Maybe I'll do a youtube video on how to remove and install that part.
I also have some mold on my stock seats as well. I'll let you know how I clean it but you have to get at the source of the water leak first.

In terms of interior, I would either leave it stock but install nice Recaro seats or do this...

Spoiler!

Yeah saw those as well. I gave my old seats a deep clean and I'm letting them dry in a warm room. If that fails, I might consider checking these out. Money's tight so if I can save the $200, why not.

Also, this is weird but my cars interior is perforated but I haven't seen any other preludes with the same interior.

May you please post photographs of your interior. Please don't post images of something that looks similar found on google images. I'm interested in seeing the interior of your vehicle. I might be able to shed some light on this as I've gone through multiple Prelude interiors.
My leather interior was perforated but not the cloth seats... from what I remember atleast.

I will take a picture when I get a chance today. The interior is leather though, so it might like the one you previously had.
