Can't dial more camber up front? I think more camber up front than the rear looks better.

Like this CRV

Akinari 02-24-2015 07:39 PM

Put SPC camber bolts in the front which max out at -1.75, going to check all the camber and alignment settings this Friday when I'm taking the car in for alignment after the coils settle. Told the shop to camber the fronts until the wheels are flush with the fender, which they more or less are. Could use a little more though, unless they're already maxed out which I didn't ask.

Not too worried about camber at the moment, I just want to even out the drop and get spacers to push the rears flush with the fender.

Wow once you get it all evened out and sorted it's going to look mad.

I really didn't think you were going to go that low, but I am pleased you did...

dared3vil0 02-24-2015 10:07 PM

Front looks great. I'd raise the back. :concentrate:

Akinari 02-24-2015 10:15 PM

Just spoke with the shop owner who worked on my car, said he fully lowered the coils both front and rear, so I will definitely be raising the rear up to match the fronts since the fronts can't be lowered anymore :derp:

Will be grabbing a pair of either 20 or 25mm spacers for the rears, they're hellasunk right now it's ridiculous haha.

You didn't do yourself much favors going with purple either.

Akinari 02-25-2015 08:59 AM

Yeah, the rears definitely need to be raised up. Already have 25mm spacers on the way from Amazon, will be here tomorrow :alonehappy: Everything getting dialed in on Friday plus alignment.

Never thought I'd say this but........That's a great looking Element

Akinari 02-25-2015 09:50 AM

Debating whether or not I should clear my front signals and corners, but I'm far too scared to stick my headlights in the oven and open them up :heckno:

Also my rear exhaust tip looks gaudy as fuck from the side :lawl: Came with the catback, looks even worse with it off

Expresso 02-25-2015 11:24 AM

Vote for Yes here. It will complement the look of the car and definitely set it apart.

spoon.ek9 02-25-2015 11:47 AM

the element is starting to remind me of some modified CR-V's I've seen in the past

I'd like to see a different set of wheels on there and some summer tires.

RevYouUp 02-25-2015 11:57 AM

Hmm, maybe you should swap the red badges back to the oem ones. IMO the red doesn't look that great with the green paint. Other than that it looks great!

Morimoto retrofit is on the to-do list, once I get bored enough to do so :troll:

Spoiler!

That guy is pretty well known in the modified Element circle, has a bunch of OEM JDM parts including those headlights which are OEM JDM Element headlights with a few different things like parking lights built in and HIDs from factory that we didn't get with our USDM Elements.

In other news, I have no fucking idea how to drive a slammed car, tried to be cool and do the sideways-going-up-speedbump driving, still ended up scraping the shit out of my downwards-bent (from offroading a few years back) fuel tank cage that's barely three inches off the ground :lawl: wasn't even able to drive into my gf's residential area because there's a billion speedbumps there and had to park on the street and walk to her house instead :okay: Not even going to get started on how much of a nightmare the Oakridge parkade was today :fuckthatshit:
