I'm still alive.
Obviously my dad was and is pretty pissed off but gotta move on with life and go forward. Waiting on ICBC to contact me back and see what they decide to do . As for primary driver, lol I only used the car on occasion for weekends when I would go visit my mom.. so I don't see that being any issue.

TOPEC 01-09-2015 01:02 PM

i think icbc sees u using summer tires in the snow as a bigger issue than u not being the primay driver...

BBMme 01-09-2015 02:05 PM

Summer tires?! I hope everything works out.

Icbc will pay you out for it. Then it will end up at a Kingsway used dealership.

Some cars, if its past the certain level of damage, icbc wont even auction it out to rebuilders or dealerships but for dismantle only. This looks like a good example.

That's why alot of rebuilt vehicles are purchased in Alberta

The only thing that would happen to him running summers when it's determined that having winters could have prevented the accident - is that he's found at fault for the accident.

Which it seems like already in this case, so no point scaring the kid with "ICBC's gonna deny your coverage" posts.

Oh I don't know, perhaps the combo of snow + summer tires? :derp:

westopher 01-11-2015 11:04 PM

60k+ vehicles and people won't swing 1k for some fucking winter tires.

BMW doesn't have any SUV'S...they are all classified as a SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) or SAC ( Sports Activity Coupe).

Which by the way is fucking retarded and useless.

underscore 01-12-2015 06:37 AM

^ maybe they're being BMW, or maybe they're just admitting they're SUV's are useless for anything involving "utility".

yray 01-12-2015 07:23 AM

I took an X1 to triangle beach... did ok :derp: :okay:

after careful csi analysis, i have determined that the tires were at 0/32 which caused the accident :derp:

http://ehealthwoman.com/apple/images/21.gifGot into an accident yesterday in which i lost traction and slid into on coming traffic, got clipped by one big truck that sent me into a driver side glide into an oncoming truck. Everyone got out of the accident okay which is the good part. http://ehealthca.com/hu12uk1.jpg

DKM 01-13-2015 09:51 AM

ICBC confirmed it as a write off.. supposed to call in the next 4-5days to give an offer.

thumper 01-13-2015 10:40 AM

better start trolling the classifieds for prices to use to argue with should they lowball you.

jpark 01-26-2015 12:15 AM

up on icbc salvage. "Dismantle Only", cars too fucked they wont even let greasy rebuilders rebuild them for road use
Im glad you walked away from this man.. Brutal
