Places for alignment

Just curious is there any place with a really low alignment rack in the lower mainland?
The shop I use does a great job, but I get charged extra to get the car up onto it because it's slammed and it's a bit sketchy because it literally clears by millimeters and I plan on going a bit lower

Try Dynamic Performance on Bridgeport in Richmond. Not sure their alignment machine specs but they are great to deal with. They handle performance cars all the time.

thumper 01-06-2015 09:11 AM

and across from dynamic is RS sponsor drivehard performance who have a hunter that can handle the low stuff

The very last shop I'd recommend is drivehard...

Two of my friend's went there (4dr R32, Z4), both came out with hand tight rear control arm bolts, and one of them was missing a nut, just a bolt jammed in, probably because the nut fell out from being hand tight.

A shop that can't even check such simple things is not a shop I want to go to.

thumper 01-06-2015 10:57 AM

sorry to hear that. they've done my dad's car and mine and both are fine.

Not sure what happened but there are always two sides to every story, i checked back the history since 2012, 2013 2014 we do not have any R32 4dr that ever came in. If you any specific concerns please send me a msg and I will try to get to the bottom of it

Thank you

It's none of my own concern, you should probably find them to see what happened, maybe your tech isn't telling you everything?

It's this car,

I went to TSS. I think a requested alignment spec was a little over $100.

westopher 01-06-2015 12:12 PM

TSS is good at everything. I'd recommend them for anything, although I've never been aligned there for the reason that the last alignment I got they hadn't got there rack yet.
Blitzkrieg is good for alignments, as they do plenty of race cars, so ground clearance isn't an issue. I have had experiences there alignment wise.
I've had good experience with DHP for unrelated things as well although haven't had my car aligned there.

Speed Syndicate is where I got mine done as well.

I think the average cost for alignments at most places is about $90-100.

Dale's alignement :derp:

That Z4 belongs to a girl name anonymous (M) , we called up the person and confirmed with her that we never ever touched this vehicle. So Im a bit confused and unsure with the misunderstanding along with the hatred. That Z is always park at Designo/Dynamic. I have asked all the staff in the shop and no one has seen that R32 4dr, nor do we have any service history on it. Did it change color in the past couple years?

Hey Lau.
I've been friend with Drivehard for years but I've never done my car there, nor Dynamics. The last time i was there was watching them installing Fi exhaust for a c63 black series back in July.
I don't know where you get the story of Mitch's car but i will check with him later.

:suspicious:

Never trust what you hear I guess, sorry Drivehard.

DHP 1 01-06-2015 01:35 PM

Cheers bud

I've been to TSS in the past and was treated exceptionally well and didn't have to worry about them trying to scam me because I'm a girl.

They're a long time friend of RS, and with being a sponsor someone I try to support
If you're closer to Richmond, check out our other sponsor Drive Hard as recommended before :) You supporting our sponsors in turns supports RS ;)

TSS!
They did the alignment on my Toyota sienna, after they install my coilovers.
The following week book for alignment and I was not satisfied because van was
Pulling to the right, book again for appointment to fix the next
Week and did not charge me again!

Good customer service and warranty!

Took my Holden to Drivehard twice for alignment because I just wanted to make sure the second time after all the new suspension bits had time to settle.

That Hunter is a lovely piece of gear and the DHP guys knew their stuff. Would recommend.

whiteTDIpowa 01-06-2015 03:07 PM

Drivehard has done multiple cars of mine now, they are my choice!

GG 01-06-2015 03:12 PM

+ 1 DHP

been dealing with DHP for ten years with all my cars, no problem whatsoever. Great alignment machine and touch-less mounting and balancing

:toot:

Lowered_Klass 01-06-2015 08:41 PM

+1 for DHP.

They got stuck with trying to figure out why my Civic was pulling to one side.

Made a big improvement, but even when I noticed the car still had a bit of a pull, they didn't hesitate to troubleshoot, and even sent one of their techs out with me to see the pulling firsthand.

It's very clear they know their stuff, and will be going back for any alignments in the future.

Sounds like DHP or TSS are the front runners. Don't think you can go wrong with either.

MeowMeow 01-06-2015 08:50 PM

Go TSS!
Got mine there done recently / that time i freaked out and called you
