lol "took out sim card". like that solves the whole tracking him down problem.

the sim card has nothing to do with it, the wifi connection has nothing to do with it. the IMEI is permanent to the phone and it is registered to the user of the device on the network. even if you're off wifi and you don't have a sim card on the phone, you're still being tracked. how do you think you can dial 911 even if the phone doesn't have a sim card? genius.

also, the iCloud account cannot be taken out. it is a totally different animal to blacklisting, unlocking, flashing, rooting, etc. Once it's there, it's there for good. Also, when it's lost, there's a fucking message on iTunes that tells you the owner's information on where/how to return it. unless you want to use this as an iPod only (with the original owner's music, because you can't add your own due to iCloud block), this device is useless to person who finds it.
