Biggest downswing probably 30 buy ins or so.. Thats ambitious lol no one jams 200bb+ with qq these days.. Lucky

yameen 02-18-2015 08:17 PM

i play both edge and RR. the 2.5k guy last night was at RR...you guys might've been there. i have positive winnings by playing TAG style and position. get donked out a few times but in the long run i'm winning. it's just a small hobby so i don't play often, like once a month.

yameen 02-18-2015 08:18 PM

yesterday had the same idiot who pushed all in with his QQ, thinks his QQ is good after a 3bet....i laughed

wait, why isnt it good lol

yameen 02-19-2015 03:00 PM

it went like this. i wasn't in the hand but basically a guy utg called $2, the guy with QQ was mid position and raised it to $15, button reraised to $50 and utg raised it to $100. QQ pushed all in with about $200 left in his hand, button folded and utg called.

the guy in mid position with QQ was definitely no good with that action. obviously the guy utg had KK or AA and when he flipped over his cards it was AA.

u cant say its not bad unless you tell us how the UTG and BTN are playing. if super tight, yes its bad, if loose, than its not.

How is everyone running for last 6 months.

chipmunk604 09-21-2015 09:48 PM

the wait list at hard rock and river rock is so sick! I went to hard rock last friday and busted out. Flopped top 2 and loose cannon turned a set to take all of it :okay:

bad beat 600K+

Gerbs 09-21-2015 10:07 PM

Badbeat on playnow is really big too, no time to play anymore since school started :okay:. Spent most of my poker bankroll for school.

dr.funk 05-05-2016 05:54 PM

Bad Beat at Grand Villa is 600k+ atm

swiftshift 05-05-2016 06:07 PM

Play casually on rare occasions, when I go out in a group for dinner or something.

I thought it was pooled amongst several casinos.

dr.funk 05-05-2016 07:34 PM

From my understand edge water was 40k I think grand villa is sitting at 600k

Verdasco 05-06-2016 12:00 PM

wait, is grand villa split with great canadian casinos or someshit like riverrock, hard rock, and the surrey one?

grand villa / starlight / cascades is all under Gateway Casinos
hard rock / river rock / fraser downs is all under Great Canadian Casinos
edgewater is an independent group

i believe each group has its own shared bad beat jackpot

did i miss any?

I haven't played in so long....but i do want to play at the villa. They reduced 2 of their tables, making it a total of 6 tables only. That is going to be a long wait.

Anyone playing 3 years later? Games are super tough now.

No more fishes at cash games either?

Gerbs 09-30-2019 06:22 PM

There use to be a 2 - 4 fishes per table in cash games. Nowadays it's like 1 - 2 if your lucky. Just gotta table select. But there's also so many resources to improve your game now so the overall pool is a lot better. Less preflop mistakes more post flop.

Yeps, almost weekly.

In fact, I just got back from Vegas yesterday. I play mostly at Aria. I did not run well this time around, but craps got me +'ve overall on the trip.

Gerbs 10-01-2019 07:24 AM

Seems like there's only two poker rooms to play at now. Since Hardrock shut down and Riverrock lost half its tables.
