| 17 year old boy dies during Russian roulette game 17-year-old boy shot, killed during Russian roulette game
CARSON, Calif. (AP) — A 17-year-old boy shot and killed himself early Monday during what authorities are describing as a game of Russian roulette in his apartment with other teens.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies responding to a call about a gunshot in an unincorporated area between Los Angeles and Carson found the boy with a wound to the head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The boy initiated the game after producing a .38-caliber revolver, despite the pleading of two others in the bedroom not to, according to sheriff's investigators. Russian roulette involves loading a single chamber of a revolver, spinning the cylinder and squeezing the trigger after putting the gun to one's head.
Family members in the apartment at the time of the shooting just after midnight told authorities they did not realize the teen had a gun. The boy, who was not identified, was living with his older brother and the brother's wife.
Authorities say the death has been ruled accidental and they do not expect charges.

I don't even know what's so cool about Russian Roulette. Wanna tempt fate, bungee jump, sky dive, race motorcycles.
There's more cooler ways to die. (or earn bragging rights of escaping death)

There's more cooler ways to die. (or earn bragging rights of escaping death) | Russian roulette is equivalent to a 1/6 chance of death.
I can't imagine going to even the sketchiest of bungee jumping places, or sky diving establishments has odds that bad.
My point is that, compared to russian roulette, bungee jumping is not considered tempting fate.
Maybe if you jump without the bungee you might get your odds low enough...

Playing Russian Roulettes with a real gun...
What outcome was he expecting? If not himself, someone was bound to get killed eventually.

Maybe if you jump without the bungee you might get your odds low enough... | People progress from sky diving to bungee jumping to base jumping to wingsuit jumping in an effort ever so push the edge.
Russian roulette to me is a boring way to tempt fate, but that's just my opinion.

i actually feel for those in the apartment, the friends and family. I can't think of many things worse than seeing a loved one with half their head blown off, and at that for some fucking stupid shit like playing russian roulette.
