20% is a good choice if you're not used to having window tint. My current car has 5% but my previous cars all had 20%. It also helps big time getting a darker tint if your car is equipped with a backup camera. But like everybody else has said, you do get use to the dark tint after a period of time. I've driven cars with tint for so long, it feels weird when I drive a car without tint.

Outback came with 20% ish tint from the P.O


Couldn't see anything so I ripped that shit off.
