I was never on Stellantis payroll - I just like driving their shit because I never have to live with the consequences of owning one.

Also turns out... a big PHEV/EV battery lowers the roll center enough that it makes the Pacifica, Lightning, and Wrangler drive a lot smaller.

It's really too bad about the reliability.

There was a nice lime green Rubicon 4xe I'd always see in the parking lot at work, and one day I bumped into the owner. He was all smiles talking about how great it was until he started getting into all the endless problems and then he was all sad

Where do they place the battery on the Wrangler and Pacifica? Most of the Euro manufacturers put in the floor of the trunk and the X5 would try to kill you if you are very exuberant with trail braking without traction and stability control. I've done a very high speed left turn with trail braking and the back end wanted to step out in a way that you know it's because of the extra few hundred pounds behind the rear axle.

I could imagine the Pacifica having the battery in the middle where they traditionally did stow and go, but the Wrangler has to be in the trunk no?

The Pacifica Hybrid drives nice and doesn't sound taxed due to the PHEV powertrain. The only real downside is its questionable reliability but they're great as rental vehicles.

The Toyota like CVT helps a lot. The ZF based system in 4XE has weak regen and does nothing unless it is properly charged, while the minivan runs 50% on motor, even without charging

Jeep 4XE also feels a lot more powerful and responsive compared to 3.6, which needs several downshift and 4K rpm
