| Bringing food on plane
Does anyone know what the rules are for bringing food on a plane? I keep hearing conflicting things when I try to search online. The wife is flying back home from the states, and she asked me if I wanted anything so I told her in n out as a joke, but she's actually gonna get me a bunch before going to the airport. thx

It's only liquids that are a problem. Burgers and fries should be fine.

anything purchased on secure side of the airport (after screening) should be ok to bring on the plane.... mind you prices are jacked up. you can bring an empty water bottle and fill it up with the fountain if you dont want to pay 5 dollars for dasani... or bring nuts etc... just be careful you aren't bringing certain prohibited foods into the country you are entering.

I'm not sure if they'd like meat being brought across, but I flew (domestic) with a Timmies bagel last week.

Solid food is fine (at least domestically), I always grab a smoked meat sandwich from outside the airport before leaving Montreal. I don't even have to pull it out of my bag for them to verify what it is.
I won't eat airplane food unless Ihave no other food to eat. There's only so many times I can eat their "pizza" (flatbread, mozza, and ham cooked in a microwave)

i have never had an issue
I've brought sushi, BBQ pork with rice, chow mein, sandwichs.... each and every time flying to HK, mexico, US.. never an issue.

as long as it's not liquid you are ok.
usually I get take out (not from the Airport) before going to the airport to eat on the plane before they serve the meal, never a problem.
