so you can tell the real world difference between SD 800 and 810?
4GB memory for multitasking is real...see how this user can just flip through multiple games without lag
to me there's no point in a 64-bit proccessor unless you pair it with 4GB ram minimum...so all those fancy flagships released thus far don't do anything for me
people seem to like the zen skin
most of your other points i agree with
Picked this up yesterday (4GB 64GB version) and to me it feels like a flagship Samsung/LG/HTC/iPhone, etc.
Some bugs I noticed were Instagram videos didn't loop and I wasn't able to type in Whatsapp after I launch it from the lock screen but I just did another software update and that fixed both problems.
I haven't had much problems with battery life yet. I unplugged it this morning at 9am and I'm at 80% currently. That's with Netflix, YouTube, messaging, browsing, etc on lunch break as well.
My wife bought this phone today. When i unbox it she's missing the headset...fuuu.
she bought it at memory express and they are listed as final sale on unlocked phone. Should i bring it back or do i contact the manufacture for this kind of situation?
My AFC gave me an ABS CEL code of LOL while at WOT!

mine didn't come with headphones. this was the 2g version btw. don't know about the 4g.
iirc, none of the north american zenfone 2s come with headsets. mine didn't either
from what i hear, many manufacturers are actually skipping headsets as well for their new phones (samsung, apple, htc, etc)
i guess it's to drive accessory sales/minimize costs?

Just buy a nice set of headphones you can use across many phones. I haven't touched the ones that came with my phone as I have LG bluetooth earbuds for on the go and Panasonic retro over the ear headphones for when I want better sound quality.
I wouldn't doubt that probably less than 25% of people who buy cellphones never use the headphones provided. All of mine are still in the original box they came in.

IIRC, the slower 1.8GHz / 16GB model comes with the 5V@2A charger, while the 2.3GHz / 64GB model comes with the 5V@2A + 9V@2A dual mode charger. Both phones support the 60% charging in 40min capability, but you need the fast charger to make it happen. The Asus-bundled dual mode charger isn't necessary for fast charging -- the phone complies with Qualcomm's Quick Charge / Quick Charge 2.0 specification, so any charger that supports this specification will enable the fast charging.
Bear in mind though that any time you tap into fast charging, you are essentially trading battery longevity in exchange for that faster charge time. With the phone's battery being a "non-replacable" unit, you might want to think twice about how long you plan on keeping the phone. I try to keep my phones for as long as possible, so I would personally avoid this fast charging business and stick with the 5V@1A standard chargers.
If you use a usb amp meter to test the oem chargers, the 5V charger can only charge the ZF2 at an average of 5V1A, it is quite disappointed, switching to usb cables with lower gauge won't help either.
I don't know how fast charging will hurt the battery performance, unless you intend to keep the phone for more than 2 years, which is unlikely in these days. I see some people still use iphone 4s, so I guess it won't be that bad.
Thanks guys for clarifying the headset issue. Just weird that when i opened it there is a nothing on the section in the box where the headset suppose to be.
