Why invest in a dead platform? Even MS dropped it from their new Surface 3.

But for only a little bit more (<$100 using the student discount) he can get the i3 Surface Pro 3. Atom is supposed to be cheap. I can't imagine paying over $800 (with the keyboard) for a system based on an Atom CPU. Core M maybe but not Atom.

Loving my *cough free* surface pro 3. Ultra portable and I thought that the keyboard was going to be shit, but it's actually quite decent. Wish there was at least another usb port though... too cheap to buy the docking station
