^ Theres an option to go back to windows 8.1 in the menu.
"this option is only available for a month after you upgrade to Windows 10."

for some reason, I can't activate my windows key, i get this error code (Error code: 0xC004F074) and i can't figure out why. I'm assuming this is why I cant upgrade to windows 10

mine was giving me the same error until i changed it. so far im able to get further than where i originally had before that "something happened" popped up | just an update, the above works, and now im running a upgraded version of win 10. currently in the process of making a USB to do a clean install. oh and dont both with cd keys as just like everyone out there, i was given a generic cd key after the upgrade.

First impressions are important, and 10 has got my attention. It boots fast. Like less than 10 seconds fast, on a modest speed SSD. The start menu is awesome. I didn't mind the Windows 8 start screen, but this new hybrid is great!
I did a clean install of Windows 10 Enterprise on my work computer. I liked it enough that I performed an upgraded on my tablet, as well. The upgrade went smoothly. Now, I am upgrading the rest of the machines in the home.
