Calgary Flames defenseman Dennis Wideman has been suspended 20 games for cross-checking linesman Don Henderson on Jan. 27, reports TSN's Bob McKenzie.

Pedan probably will get a shot at the big club...tryamkin will probably need a year in the AHL to transfer over to the North American game...which i see JB resigning Bart for cheap...maybe another 1 year deal..

Tryamkin plays in the KHL, he won't need a huge adjustment period. It's usually the other way around where NHL players need to adjust to the larger international rink size.

Just saw that Wideman hit on the linesman....Holy fuck he went full retard. I can't believe anyone could argue that wasn't intentional. He went full extension with his arms on impact.

I'm sure proud of Bure being a Canuck and we were honestly so lucky to have him on our team and be able to see him live and every single game they played.

Other Red Wings additions include: Ty Conklin, Mathieu Dandenault, Mike Knuble, Igor Larionov, Manny Legace, Darren McCarty.
