Another season begins. Watching the Hamilton Calgary game right now.

Next Lions game Saturday, July 4th vs Ottawa.

I'm taking my son to his first game at Taylor Field in Regina tomorrow before the new Stadium is finished and he doesn't get to experience it.....I guess they call it Mosaic now but it will always be Taylor Field to me. Also going to the Lions game at BC Place on the 10th when the Riders are in town.

Your son has really grown up over the years. It's so cool to see the photos of RS members' kids - watching them grow up. The second last post in the 2014 BC Lions thread was awesome!

As for the uni's, I don't mind it. They look like green lizzards, but looking at pictures, the wheat in sky is cool.

Shitty. Up 21 to 0 first 13 minutes, then to lose the game. Really dumb call by coach to gamble with 3+ yards to go on a third down. Cocky move that backfired.

Taking lots of dumb penalties didn't help, either.

This is why I like and dislike the CFL vs NFL.
3 downs is much harder to score points on vs 4 downs.
But then the lack of scoring sucks too.

I don't mind the 3rd down attempt. They were too far away for a FG attempt.

But it was the penalties that hurt them the most. That and not being able to score the touchdown on their second last drive.

^same! I hate the 3 downs vs 4...CFL pass/run ball 3rd down kick and repeat....

Real men only NEED three downs. :accepted:

Beating the "hottest" team in the league is always good. I honestly thought the Lions were toast, but Lulay got 'er done.

Those turnovers and missed long bombs........... defence did a great job, though.
