When I was 11 I would have loved to battle those Ironman figures against my G.I. Joes. As a child I would setup all of my plastic war dolls in the backyard of my parent's detached house at 308 West 22nd and blow them up with mighty mites or shoot them with my airgun and pretend that a huge war was going on!

Then I grew up, and collecting dolls became lame.

Please explain some more! Let the doll-loving children know what the TPP is. :)

I theorize what we have here are the male off-spring of second generation feminism. I see grown men are playing with little toys designed for little kids and we have more men voicing their opinions categorized as "FEMANISM"

Men should be the leaders and stewards of our society and environment. Instead, they have been so emasculated and fed a steady diet of infantile culture that the planet could be dying around them and they're too busy driving their cars around collecting plastic dolls to care.

It is not real in a sense but one character from Spaceballs was actually pretty funny; trying to empathize here:(

This is the type of attitude that lead us to our intense and palpable cultural decline

you are sure a piece of work. everyone has a different hobby. who cares what our hobby is? does it impede on your daily life that much for you to care so much?

its a HOBBY. get a grip. some like cars, some like collectible items, some like trains, some like hockey cards. whats the big deal here? we do what we like. i can say, why ride a bicycle? grow the fuck up and get a motorcycle. too child to ride a man's bike?

Hot wheels are kind of acceptable/grey area.
Cars are adult's hobby, however adults do make 1/24 plastic scale models too.
When you don't have money, I can kind of see why Hot Wheels could be an alternative because it makes financial sense than 1/18 die cast models.

Here's the big difference.
Hot wheels are, ultimately, cars.
If you collect Hot Wheels, you do so because you like cars.

If you're a grown up man collecting those Minion toys from McDonald's Happy Meal, you have a problem.
