BMW E82 help

Hey guys,

I've done some research on this already, but I thought I would post it here as well to see what you guys come up with.

I have a 2009 128i. Recently, I've noticed that under full throttle in high gear (5/6) and between 1000-1500 rpm, the engine would stutter a little bit. It cuts power for less than a second, literally a slight thump, kinda like the traction control coming on but it's not. It's not TOO noticeable but this is something that I haven't experienced before. There is NO other problem and the engine runs perfectly at any other range and load.

Some things to note:

The car has 75k km, so kinda low to be having any fuel pump issues or worn plugs.

I recently ran over a trailer hitch, which damaged my exhaust and some panels. My exhaust was replaced (I believe from another E82) and everything else fixed (Possible faulty cat on replacement exhaust?)

I'll most likely be taking the car in to CG to run a diagnostic and see what comes up. No check engine light or anything else comes up. (any better value shops anyone can recommend?)

Anyone else have a similar experience with a N5x engine?

Thanks
