They should really have some kind of screening to at least filter out cars like the corolla lol. The silver rx8 up top actually just forced his way in, there was a huge commotion early afternoon about the differences between the upper vip lot and the lower non vip lot, and everyone wanted to move up to get a refund. They didn't let many people up, and at first they didn't let anyone move up at all and the rx8 just drove past the cones past the blitzgear guys and parked his car up top. Saw some of the Blitzgear guys give a "wtf?" motion, but in the end they didn't kick him out. Organization at its finest lol
Last batch of shots that I took
Pretty cool seeing this car in person for the first time after hearing so much about it, pictures don't do justice
the day was extremely hot. We at revscene was given a large area to work with, and did what we could with it. I myself will never win a trophy as i refuse to go as crazy or as far as the guys that compete at these shows. seeing their setups however is awesome as i give total respect to all that put their imagination to light. My goal has always been to see how much booth i can pack in my car without needing to park it outside at some lot 5 blocks away.
I honestly didnt walk upstairs to the main show. I stayed in and around the booth, only to step out for an ice run. I was the big asian guy that was helping out the organizer move some cars from the lower lot to the upper lot around 6pm.
Didnt know what to expect, but havent been to an HIN for over 10 years (back to the first ever HIN in seattle)
But its always great seeing old friends, and what they've gotten done to their cars in the past year,
Don't worry guys, HIN up here in Calgary was a complete fucking waste of time too. We get more entertainment from the local watering hole every weekend than that show.
^ We didn't know you were there either. I just wanted to get in on the conversation. Unsure if we can make it to the summer meet as of now. I don't think they'll give me the day off of work.
